Returns and Exchanges
Hey there! We want to assure you that we at Vela Apparel want you to feel 100% secure in making an online purchase with us. We know that online shopping can be tricky, and we never want our shoppers to feel like they will be stuck with something they don't end up liking, doesn't fit how they expect, or is defective in some way. Therefore, we offer terms on exchanges and returns that will make you confident enough to order through us. Please read our policy below, and feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Not only do we offer free domestic shipping on your purchases, but we will also provide free shipping and labels for your exchanges. You are welcome to exchange an unwanted, unworn item with in 14 days of receipt for either a different size, item, or store credit. We are also happy to apply your credit towards a more expensive item, or exchange for a lesser value item and refund the remaining balance to an online store credit.
For Defective Items: Of course we do our best to ensure the highest quality and standards for our products before they ship, but sometimes $*%t happens. If your item has a defect, we will of course refund you the full amount of the item, including any tax paid. We only ask that you take a picture of the defect so that we can clearly understand the problem and evaluate the claim. Any postage required for return shipping will also be covered and entirely handled by us.
For Unwanted Items: If you receive an item that you don't want and would like us to refund your money, we do not cover shipping and charge a 15% restocking fee.
Sale Items cannot be returned or exchanged, unless there is a defect.
Please note that we will always do our best to process returns and exchanges within the same day. However, during certain times of the year, and due to the nature of our local post office, it may take up to 10 business days before we are able to fully process a return or exchange.
